Delica Dilemmas

I read this article last week and it kept weighing on my mind. My first reaction was, “Wow, what an adventure!” Then I started thinking, would I embark on a cross country adventure like this during a pandemic? Probably not… unless it’s for my dream car. And this Delica was the author’s husband’s dream car.

I understood the reasons why and the article is fascinating. The couple took all the necessary precautions and more. The people they met along the way were surprising and expected. It’s a great read.

So it bothered me that so many of the comments written were not songs of praise, but awful judgemental views that this couple were completely in the wrong for taking this trip… and then it hit me… I get it because I’m a bonafide car girl!
